Toast to 2025: Saskatoon’s Best New Year’s Eve Celebrations!
Whether you're all about great food, dancing the night away, or just looking for something unique to do, there's something here for everyone to welcome 2025 in style. Here's my personal guide to ringing in the New Year in Saskatoon:
New Year's Eve Celebration at Dakota Dunes Resort
Let's kick it off with a Country Flashback Party at Dakota Dunes Resort! This tribute show is packed with hits from country legends like Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson, and Dolly Parton. Dust off your cowboy boots and bring your friends for live performances, tons of energy, and all the Southern charm. If you're up for making a night of it, book a room at the resort and enjoy the whole experience!
Pavlychenko Folklorique Ensemble's New Year's Masquerade Ball
Ready to dress to impress? The Pavlychenko Folklorique Ensemble is hosting a stunning Masquerade Ball at the Remai Modern. This elegant evening includes live entertainment, world-class performances, and mouthwatering canapés from Hearth Restaurant. It's the perfect excuse to break out your formalwear and celebrate 2025 in style.
New Year's Eve: A Night to Remember at TCU Place
If you're into jazz and gourmet food, this is for you! TCU Place is hosting a four-course dinner with live music from the Saskatoon Jazz Orchestra. Sip on festive cocktails, enjoy the fantastic menu crafted by Executive Chef Robert Martin, and dance your way into the new year. Whether it's a romantic date night, a gathering with friends, or a family celebration, this event will be unforgettable!
Noon Year's Eve Bash at Nutrien Wonderhub
For those with little ones, check out the Noon Year's Eve Bash at Nutrien Wonderhub. Celebrate at 10 a.m., noon, or 2 p.m. with plenty of play, creativity, and cheer. There will be a photobooth, a memory wall, create a wishing star and noise makers and so much more! It's the perfect way to ring in the New Year without staying up past bedtime. Bring your New Year’s cheer and join us for some fun!
Home by 10 NYE Party at Better Brother Brewing
Looking for a celebration that wraps up early? Better Brother Brewing has you covered. Their Home by 10 NYE Party features charcuterie, music bingo, a 9:00 p.m. ball drop, party favors, and more! They also will be taping a limited-edition NYE Cask before 6! It's ideal for those who want fun without the late-night commitment—right up my alley!
Culinary Experiences
Let's be honest: Saskatoon's food scene is incredible, and New Year's Eve is the perfect excuse to indulge. Check out some of these delicious dining options:
- Hearth has created a tasting menu that will take you through the prairie seasons.
- Primal Pasta's five-course dining experience, with optional wine pairing.
- Odd Couple has a set New Year's menu with regular and vegan options.
- Odla will be offering a Southern, Creole and Cajun-inspired feast.
Make sure to book in advance because spots fill up fast. A full tummy is the best way to welcome the New Year!
Yuk Yuk’s New Years Party
Prepare for an evening filled with laughter at a Yuk Yuk’s comedy show! Enjoy some great comedy, drinks and food! After the show, keep the festive vibes alive with a DJ and dance party! Add to the experience a delicious dinner and book a room at the Park Town Hotel (how convenient!) and you are set for a great night of fun!
Safe Transportation
No matter how you celebrate, let's ensure everyone gets home safely. Saskatoon Transit offers free rides on New Year's Eve, or you can plan for a taxi through Riide or a designated driver. Operation Red Nose is another great option running until January 1. Stay smart and safe this holiday season!

Whether you're out on the town, hosting loved ones, or cozying up on the couch (and trying to make it to midnight!), I hope your New Year's Eve is everything you want it to be. Wishing you a magical night and all the best for 2025. Happy New Year, Saskatoon!
