Laughing Out Loud in Saskatoon: Comedy in the City
Our comedy scene in Saskatoon is thriving! Let’s dive into some of the best comedy spots in Saskatoon because life’s too short not to laugh!

Saskatoon Soaps Improv Comedy
For over 40 years, the Saskatoon Soaps Improv Comedy have been delivering fantastic improv comedy. Hosted monthly at the Broadway Theatre, their shows feature a rotating cast of talented community members. The Soaps have shared the stage with legendary Canadian comedians like Colin Mochrie, Catherine O’Hara, and Kevin McDonald of Kids in the Hall fame.
If you’re looking for a live show where anything can happen, improv is where it’s at. You can also book the Soaps for private events like corporate parties and murder mystery nights! Their next show is April. 18th, get your tickets and enjoy a night of laughs!

Art Bar
The newest gem in Saskatoon’s comedy scene, Art Bar, has taken over the old 9 Mile Brewing space on 19th Street, in the Riversdale District! This intimate venue brings in both local and touring comedians, making it a must-visit for anyone craving live entertainment. Plus, they have 9 Miile, The Ticket (my fav beer) on tap, win!
Looking for entertainment that is during the day? Art Bar’s Noon Hour Comedy Special is the perfect midday pick-me-up. Running Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, you bring your lunch, and they’ll bring the laughs! Advance tickets are only $12, making this an easy (and hilarious) way to brighten your day!

Yuk Yuk's Comedy Club
Yuk Yuk's Comedy Club is a staple of Canada’s stand-up scene, and Saskatoon’s location at the Park Town Hotel keeps the tradition alive. Every Friday night, top comedians from across the country take the stage, delivering high-energy sets to packed crowds.
Want to make it a night? Book a room at the Park Town Hotel, how convenient is that? Plus, pre-and post-show drinks at Riverside Lounge or Finn’s Irish Pub make for the perfect comedy night out.

TCU Place
Saskatoon's premier event venue, TCU Place, has welcomed some great comedians, including Gerry Dee, Jim Jefferies, and Russell Peters. With its spacious seating and prime downtown location, TCU is ideal for catching top-tier comedy acts. Plan to stay at Hilton Garden Inn Saskatoon Downtown or Holiday Inn Saskatoon Downtown for easy convenience, as it is right across the street! Grab dinner before the show or enjoy a nightcap afterward; it's all part of the downtown experience!
