Tucked in beside Cohen’s (and owned by the same restaurant group, Taste Hospitality), Picaro Cocktails & Tacos skillfully pairs traditional Mexican flavours with local ingredients. The restaurant bills itself as proudly inauthentic thanks to their penchant for fusion cuisine and spotlighting locally sourced ingredients in an homage to Saskatoon’s unique, prairie-inspired culinary scene. Think Prairie Beans & Rice using Saskatchewan wild rice and Bison Tacos sourced from Bison Ridge Farms.

An extensive cocktail list rounds out the menu, making liberal use of traditional Mexican ingredients like tequila and mezcal. Of course, non-drinkers and those not wishing to imbibe can still find plenty of reasons to raise a glass, thanks to a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks like their French 86'd and virgin Caesar and Piña Coladas.
