Amigo’s
Right around the corner from Beppi’s Gelato, Amigo’s Cantina is one of Saskatonians’ favourite places to catch a live show and enjoy delicious homemade Mexican food. The storied venue opened thirty years ago as the passion project of friends and co-owners Steve Benesh, Jim Clarke, and Alex Clendening. Since then, its stage has played host to an impressive lineup of legendary musical acts, including Broken Social Scene, Modest Mouse, Sarah McLachlan, Propagandhi, Neko Case, and many, many more.
Named one of Canada’s Best Restaurants by the National Post, Amigo’s is as known for their food as they are for their music. Bring your appetite because the portions are plentiful — their menu serves up a blend of mouthwatering Mexican fare and classic pub grub, along with plenty of cheap brews to toast your encore. Standout favourites include their Ancho Chicken Enchiladas, Lila Mole Fajita, and delicious Nachos Supremo Grande. A tasty kids’ menu, diverse lineup of events, and LGBTQ2S-friendly atmosphere ensure this iconic concert hall offers a little something for everyone.
