Hearth Restaurant
The award-winning restaurant combines chefs and owners Beth Rogers and Thayne Robstad’s local food philosophy with their talent for crafting artistic dishes — fitting since they’re housed inside the Remai Modern art gallery. Hearth’s most popular dish, Mushrooms, is one not to miss: wild and cultivated mushrooms and gooey cheese in a hot skillet. Sprigs of reindeer moss from Saskatchewan’s northern boreal forest garnish the top for a true forager’s feast.
A creative cocktail list rounds out the menu, taking plenty of inspiration from local flavours with a pinch of whimsy. Try the Riverside Punch made with Stumbletown Saskatchegin and Saskatoon berries — the perfect accompaniment to an artful downtown brunch.
