Beppi’s Gelato

Wander down the muralled alleyway to the west of the The Hose and Hydrant Brew Pub building and you’ll find Beppi’s Gelato: a quaint and charming shop serving small-batch gelato and sorbetto, freshly roasted coffee, traditional confections, and specialty grocery items. Owner Paola Chiste opened Beppi’s as an homage to her Italian roots — in particular, her grandfather, Giuseppe Dallagiacoma (“Nonno Beppi”), a notorious lover of sweets.

A perfect marriage of quality ingredients and passion, Beppi’s offers artisanal gelato that’s lovingly crafted using fresh, local, and authentic Italian ingredients. Since first opening their doors, the shop has created more than 150 different flavours of gelato. Standout favourites include their classic, creamy Stracciatella, tangy and thirst-quenching Lemon Sorbetto, and decadent Big Dog flavour with chocolate chunks and yummy salted caramel. With flavours changing daily, you’re all but guaranteed to discover a new favourite each time you visit!
