TREATY 6 TERRITORY & HOMELAND OF THE MÉTIS BIKE RACKS

Treaty 6 Territory & Homeland of the Métis Bike Racks

Saskatoon is filled with creative urban design elements that speak to the city’s unique culture, heritage, and history. Take a stroll along 21st Street and you’ll notice a perfect example of this in the Treaty No. 6 and Homeland of the Métis Bike Racks. The racks are adorned with medallions celebrating the Cree, Nakoda and Saulteaux leaders who signed Treaty No. 6 in 1876, as well as the history of the Métis People in and around Saskatoon.
