Founders
Standing at a towering 72 feet tall, Henry VanSeters’ colourful mural “Founders” adorns the north wall of historic Drinkle Building No. 3 in the heart of downtown Saskatoon. The five-storey brick building was built by developer J.C. Drinkle in 1913. Look closely and you’ll spot Drinkle himself among the seven portraits of the city’s founding fathers, alongside figures like Chief Whitecap and John Lake.
