University of Saskatchewan - Boffins Garden
The Garden Park, adjacent to Boffins at Innovation Place at the University of Saskatchewan, offers a picturesque setting.
The lower level is home to a large pond surrounded by extensive perennial plantings. Throughout the summer a variety of native and exotic water plants enhance the beauty of the pond; most notable are the large Lotus blooms amongst the carpet of water lilies.
Beaver Creek
Beaver Creek Conservation Area is where a prairie creek meets prairie river, a microcosm of the Meewasin Valley, and home to an amazing diversity of wildlife! Conservation areas like Beaver Creek, are designated areas that are set aside to protect and enhance natural ecosystems and unique cultural resources.
Plus, Beaver Creek offers seeds so that you can hand-feed the chickadees! Can you imagine the photos of feeding the birds in a picturesque environment?

From vibrant streets to the river’s edge, Downtown YXE has tons of opportunities for photographers! You can start your day taking photos of the street art, swap to some fun people photos at some of Saskatoon’s best attractions, take a coffee break, and end the night down by the river! What’s not to like about a fully packed day of fun?
Meewasin Trail
The Meewasin Trail lives in and outside of the City of Saskatoon, on both sides of the river, and includes several sites and services to help you make the most of your adventures. Explore the natural habitat along the riverbank, discover culture at museums and interpretive sites, and take advantage of enhancements such as parks and canoe launches.
The trail runs over +105km along both sides of the river, winding under the bridges, and through beautifully landscaped parks and natural areas.
