Introduction to Rug Hooking -Silver Willow Fibre Festival

Introduction into Rughooking by Shelly Nicolle-Phillips from Hooked on the Prairies You will learn the basics of rug hooking and complete your own piece of fibre art. You will learn how to pull a loop, the common materials and equipment used and techniques on how to finish your rugs. You will work on a small piece of art (5"x5") Most of all, you'll have a chance to have some fun and chat with others just like a traditional hook-in. No experience needed!

The workshop will be during the Silver Willow Fibre Festival Oct 5 from 1-4pm. Costs are $95 which includes all material needed and free entrance to the festival.
