SCAR2025: Celebrate 25 Years of Geocaching, Prairie Style!

Get ready, adventurers!

The 16th Annual Saskatoon Cache and Release (SCAR) event is happening May 23–24, 2025—and this year, we’re going big for the 25th anniversary of Geocaching! This epic 24-hour cache-a-thon draws seekers from across Saskatchewan and beyond. It kicks off Friday at 5:30 PM and ends Saturday at 5:30 PM, with hundreds of creative hides popping up within 150 km of Saskatoon.

Whether you’re in it for the finds, the hides, or the stories, SCAR is for you!

Hide one or more geocaches between now and Friday May 16th to ensure that the reviewer has sufficient time to approve all the hides.

Prizes for most finds, hides, FTFs—even DNFs! Join us Saturday night at (6 PM) for a BBQ, awards, and storytelling. Bring a chair, reusable dishes, and your best caching tales. Whether you're new to geocaching or a seasoned trailblazer—hide, seek, and celebrate with us!
