Remai Modern presents The Queen of My Dreams

In celebration of National Canadian Film Day, Remai Modern presents a special FREE screening of The Queen of My Dreams.

The film follows the story of Azra, a young Queer Pakistani-Canadian woman who has long felt disconnected from her mother. Reuniting in Pakistan for her father’s funeral in 1999, the film goes back and forth between her mother's coming-of-age story and Azra's, making parallels between the mother and daughter more and more clear – but will they realize this in time to save their relationship?
