Dark Skies: Solar Eclipse, Part II

April 8th brings Saskatoon's second of two partial solar eclipses in six months, with over 35% sun coverage. Don't miss out—the next eclipse this good isn't until 2039! Join us at the River Landing Ampitheatre, where we'll have eclipse glasses (proper protective equipment is necessary for safe viewing) and telescopes ready for your viewing pleasure. Also on hand will be crafts, hot drinks, and Meewasin staff to explain what's happening in real time!

Note: the event will run for the full 3 hours, but feel free to come and go as you're able to. The eclipse will peak at 12:50 PM - if you live or work nearby, this would be a great way to spend your lunch break!
