Ballroom Dancing by the River

The University of Saskatchewan's Ballroom Dancing club is excited to announce the return of Ballroom Dancing by the River, a highly anticipated event from last year!

Attendance is complimentary and perfect for beginners, so please feel free to invite friends and family. The event will be held from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Amphitheatre at River Landing, weather permitting.

The event will start with a brief, beginner-level dance lesson, followed by music for you to dance to and practice your new skills. If you need assistance with a step or matching dance moves to the music, our friendly volunteers, executives, and dance instructors are here to help. So don't hesitate to reach out to ask for assistance!

As the summer temperatures increase, it is essential to stay hydrated! We strongly recommend bringing a water bottle to our dance sessions to stay cool and refreshed. Dancing in the heat can be challenging, so let's make sure we are prepared! We also suggest wearing flat street shoes as the dance surface may be uneven.
