Artistic Gymnastics Western Championships

The Western Canadian Championships, which is the western championship for the disciplines of Men’s & Women’s Artistic Gymnastics is coming to Saskatoon. The Western Championships will showcase the top 350 provincial and western level athletes from British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Yukon and Saskatchewan.
Highlights of the competition include:
∗ 6 provincial teams
∗ Male and female athletes aged 9-22 years
∗ Four events in women’s gymnastics – vault, uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise
∗ Six events in men’s gymnastics – floor exercise, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, horizontal bar
∗ Individual event, all around and team competition
