Yes, Meewasin is a walking trail that extends over 105+ KM throughout Saskatoon, but did you know they also offer experiences? Meewasin is where conservation meets curiosity, nature meets nightlife (seriously, keep reading), and every outing is a chance to discover something new in Saskatoon's beautiful backyard.

And the best part? Every experience supports Meewasin's conservation and education efforts. So, while exploring the magic of the Meewasin Valley, you're also helping protect it. Win-win!

1. Birding Breakfast (June)

Early bird gets the... peaceful prairie sunrise and a front-row seat to spring songs performed by Saskatchewan birds! Head to Beaver Creek Conservation Area and kick off your morning with expert guides and feathered friends. Trust us; coffee hits differently when paired with chickadees and meadowlarks. Birding Breakfasts are held from 8:30 - 11:00 AM at Beaver Creek Conservation Area.

2. Wildflower Walk (June–July)

Trade your screen time for wild blooms and buzzing bees. This guided walk dives into native wildflowers and the critters who love them, all nestled in the stunning Meewasin Valley. You'll never look at a dandelion the same way again. Wildflower Walks are held from 5 PM - 7:30 PM on Fridays and 10 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturdays at Beaver Creek Conservation Area.

3. Walking Tours (June–September)

Want to understand Saskatoon a little deeper? These tours weave together the past, present, and future of the Meewasin Valley from Indigenous histories to urban growth, with a splash of environmental insight. It's a moving story, told step by step. Learn more here!

4. Naughty by Nature (July–August)

Think nature is all butterflies and birdcalls? Think again. This cheeky, adults-only tour explores the (ahem) romantic side of Beaver Creek's wildlife. It's educational, hilarious, and, yes, totally PG-13. Perfect for date night or your sassiest group chat, Meewasin will release the time and dates soon, so keep your eyes on the details!

5. Grazing Dinner (September)

This one's for the foodies. Picture this: a golden prairie hike, followed by a three-course, locally sourced feast, completed with a sheep and stock dog demo as your dessert entertainment. It's rustic, elegant, and 100% unforgettable. Their 2025 Grazing Dinner schedule is currently being finalized. Stay tuned; you won't want to miss out on this amazing event!

6. Dark Skies (All Seasons)

Sunsets, stargazing, and Saskatoon skies like you've never seen them before. Whether you're an amateur astronomer or just love a good night view, these seasonal events showcase why we call this place the Land of Living Skies. These events happen throughout the year, so keep your eyes out for their events!

7. Sip & Skate (January–February)

Be sure to save this for the winter months, as this event feels like something straight out of a movie! Enjoy the sparkling lights, cozy up by the fire, and glide through a winter wonderland while enjoying warm drinks and treats.
